Snakes Combined

Location

San Francisco, CA

Date

July, 2023

Material

Plastic and Metal

Project type

Sculpture

This piece came together by linking two snake-inspired works, connected through pearls that hook into plastic strands. It shifts and transforms depending on how it’s arranged—flowing freely like a winding river, coiling into a spiral, or hooking into itself to create a structured, vest-like form.
The spiral holds deep meaning for me—cycles, growth, the constant motion of transformation. It’s a shape that draws you inward, reminding me of the way we evolve, shed, and begin again. This piece isn’t just about movement in a physical sense; it’s about the ways we adapt, the spaces we occupy, and the forms we take on at different points in our lives.
It can be worn, displayed, draped, or laid out—shifting between sculpture, fashion, and decor. But no matter how it’s arranged, it carries the same essence: change is continuous, and so are we.
