San Francisco, CA
Date
May, 2022
Material
Plastic
Project type
Sculpture
This open-ended sculpture is designed for adaptability. Crafted from neon-hued plastic ropes in pink, orange, blue, and black, its woven structure allows it to be hung in multiple orientations, each revealing new forms—one moment resembling a cat’s head, the next something entirely different. It invites viewers to discover their own interpretations within its shifting shape.
Shown on a mannequin to highlight its wearable potential, the piece transforms into an avant-garde statement when draped on the body. It can also function as a tabletop installation or an unconventional home accent, seamlessly moving between art, fashion, and decor.
This work is meant to be interactive, encouraging play and exploration. Every new arrangement uncovers a different aspect of its structure, making it a piece that continuously evolves with the viewer’s perspective.
