This piece is a tribute to a significant person in my life. It embodies a balance of strength and vulnerability, much like the complexities of relationships—how they evolve, endure, and sometimes shift. I chose colors that not only fit his home but also tell a deeper story of contrast and connection. The bold black petals hold a quiet strength, layered like the identities we build over time, while the vibrant blue core pulses with emotion—passion, sadness, transformation.
As much as this flower carries personal meaning, it’s also an invitation to reflect on how love, like art, can be both lasting and fleeting, beautiful even in its imperfection. It’s a reminder that the connections we make shape us, stay with us, and continue to unfold in unexpected ways, even as we move forward on our own paths.
